T.Kingfisher, Swordheart -- this was a really fun romance, and I enjoyed it as such, and yet, the first thing I said to Best Chat about it was, "Rat god!!!" and my second thing, upon finishing it, was "I am so happy to hear it will be a trilogy because I can't wait for the Dervish book!" Ursula Vernon, Whiskerella (Hamster Princess 5) -- the last of the Hamster Princess books currently out, so there will be no more sparkly hamsters for me until October (which is fine, as I'm ready to take a break; binging these is probably not what one should do, anyway). This one was also pretty cute, with the Cinderella story subversion ( spoilers! )

51. Ursula Vernon, Giant Trouble (Hamster Princess 4) -- these are still super cute! In this one, Harriet takes on "Jack and the Beanstalk". The humour in this one, a lot of which had to do with the giant (a giant lop hare :D) having really stinky feet, but, OK, target audience. ( More, with mild spoilers, I guess? )

44. Ursula Vernon, Knight-Napped (Dragonbreath #10) -- This was really cute! I enjoyed it more than #11, possibly because so much of the focus was on Christiana, or maybe just because knights vs dragons as an endangered species thing (they're both endangered) is amusing. ( A couple of quotes )

38. Jonathan Kellerman, Heartbreak Hotel -- another Alex Delaware novel. I enjoyed this one less than Motive, but it was still fun (I mean, this isn't Great Literature by any stretch, but I've read 36 of this man's books and keep reading, so he's doing something right).
